What’s Your Approachability Quotient (AQ)?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:10 pm

After reviewing thousands of case studies, scientific journals, books, interviews, surveys, assessments and articles on characteristics of successful communicators, it’s unanimous which attribute stands out the most: approachability. The only problem is, there is no existing measure to discover how approachable or unapproachable you are.

Until now.

In my articles, speeches and books, I’ve explored a myriad of techniques to MAXIMIZE your approachability - one conversation at a time. However, in order to get the most out of these systems, it’s important to first understand your Approachability Quotient (AQ).

Now, before you begin to calculate your AQ, ask yourself the following three questions to get yourself into an approachable state of mind:

  • In less than three words, how do you define “approachability”?

  • Who is the most approachable person you know? Why?

  • Who is the most unapproachable person you know? Why?

With that, let’s move on and find out how approachable you really are. Please honestly answer the following 18 questions on a scale of 0-4:

  • Health & Fitness Is Not A “12 Week Program”

Filed under: House Of Templates — admin @ 1:52 am

Not long ago, one of the members of my health club poked her head in my office for some advice and assistance. Linda was a 46 year old mother of two, and she had been a member for over a year. She had been working out sporadically, with (not surprisingly) sporadic results. On that particular day, she seemed to have enthusiasm and a twinkle in her eye that I hadn’t seen before.

“I want to enter a before and after fitness contest called the “12 week body transformation challenge.” I could win money and prizes and even get my picture in a magazine.”

“I want to lose THIS”, she continued, as she grabbed the body fat on her stomach. “Do you think it’s a good idea?”

Linda was not “obese” by any means, she just had the typical “moderate roll” of abdominal body fat and a little bit of thigh/hip fat that many forty-something females struggle with.

“I think it’s a great idea” I reassured her. “Competitions are great for motivation. When you have a deadline and you dangle a “carrot” like that prize money in front of you, it can keep you focused and more motivated than ever.”

Linda was eager and rarin’ to go. “Will you help me? I have this enrollment kit and I need my body fat measured.”

“No problem,” I said as I pulled out my Skyndex fat caliper, which is used to measure body fat percentage with a “pinch an inch” test.

When I finished, I read the results to her from the caliper display: “Twenty-seven percent. Room for improvement, but not bad; it’s about average for your age group.”

She wasn’t overjoyed at being ‘average’. “Yeah, but it’s not good either. Look at THIS,” she complained as again she grabbed a handful of stomach fat. “I want to get my body fat down to 19%, I heard that was a good body fat level.”

I agreed that 19% was a great goal, but it would take a lot of work because average fat loss is usually about a half a percent a week, or six percent in twelve weeks. Her goal, to lose eight percent in twelve weeks was ambitious.

She smiled and insisted, “I’m a hard worker. I can do it”

Indeed she was and indeed she did. She was a machine! Not only did she never miss a day in the gym, she trained HARD. Whenever I left my office and took a stroll through the gym, she was up there pumping away with everything she had. She told me her diet was the strictest it had ever been in her life and she didn’t cheat at all. I believed her. And it started to show, quickly.

Each week she popped into my office to have her body fat measured again, and each week it went down, down, down. Consistently she lost three quarters of a percent per week - well above the average rate of fat loss - and on two separate occasions, I recall her losing a full one percent body fat in just seven days.

Someone conservative might have said she was overtraining, but when we weighed her and calculated her lean body mass, we saw that she hadn’t lost ANY muscle - only fat. Her results were simply exceptional!

She was ecstatic, and needless to say, her success bred more success and she kept after it like a hungry tiger for the full twelve weeks.

On week twelve, day seven, she showed up in my office for her final weigh-in and body fat measurement. She was wearing a pair of formerly tight blue jeans and they were FALLING OFF

HER! “Look, look, look,” she repeated giddily as she tugged at her waistband, which was now several inches too large.

As I took her body fat, I have to say, I was impressed. She hadn’t just lost a little fat, she was “RIPPED!”

During week twelve she dropped from 18% to 17% body fat, for a grand total of 10% body fat lost. She surpassed her goal of 19% by two percent. I was now even more impressed, because I had only seen a handful of people lose that much body fat in three months.

You should have seen her! She started hopping up and down for joy like she was on a pogo stick! She was beaming… grinning from ear to ear! She practically knocked me over as she jumped up and gave me a hug - “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“Don’t thank me,” I said, “You did it, I just measured your body fat.”

She thanked me again anyway and then said she had to go have her “after” pictures taken. Then something very, very strange happened. She stopped coming to the gym. Her “disappearance” was so abrupt, I was worried and I called her. She never picked up, so I just left messages.

    No return phone call.

It was about four months later when I finally saw Linda again. The giddy smile was gone, replaced with a sullen face, a droopy posture and a big sigh when I said hello and asked where she’d been.

“I stopped working out after the contest… and I didn’t even win.”

“You looked like a winner to me, no matter what place you came in” I insisted, “but why did you stop, you were doing so well!”

“I don’t know, I blew my diet and then just completely lost my motivation. Now look at me, my weight is right back where I started and I don’t even want to know my body fat.”

“Well, I’m glad to see you back in here again. Write down some new goals for yourself and remember to think long term too. Fitness isn’t a just 12 week program you know, it’s a lifestyle - you have to do it every day - like… forever.”

She nodded her head and finished her workout, still with that defeated look on her face. Unfortunately, she never again come anywhere near the condition she achieved for that competition, and for the rest of the time she was a member at our club, she slipped right back into the sporadic on and off workout pattern.

Linda was not an isolated case. I’ve seen the same thing happen with countless men and women of all ages and fitness levels from beginners to competitive bodybuilders. In fact, it happens to millions of people who “go on” diets, lose a lot of weight, then quickly “go off” the diet and gain the weight right back.

What causes people to burn so brightly with enthusiasm and motivation and then burn out just as quickly? Why do so many people succeed brilliantly in the short term but fail 95 out of 100 times in the long term? Why do so many people reach their fitness goals but struggle to maintain them?

The answer is simple: Health and fitness is for life, not for “12 weeks.”

You can avoid the on and off, yo-yo cycle of fitness ups and downs. You can get in great shape and stay in great shape. You can even get in shape and keep getting in better and better shape year after year, but it’s going to take a very different philosophy than most people subscribe to. The seven tips below will guide you.

These guidelines are quite contrary to the quick fix philosophies prevailing in the weight loss and fitness world today. Applying them will take patience, discipline and dedication. Just remember, the only thing worse than getting no results is getting great results and losing them.

    1) Don’t “go on” diets. When you “go on” a diet, the underlying assumption is that at some point you have to “go off” it. This isn’t just semantics, it’s the primary reason most diets fail. By definition, a “diet” is a temporary and often drastic change in your eating behaviors and/or a severe restriction of calories or food, which is ultimately, not maintainable. If you reach your goal, the diet is officially “over” and then you “go off” (returning to the way you used to eat). Health and fitness is not temporary; it’s not a “diet.” It’s something you do every day of your life. Unless you approach nutrition from a “habits” and “lifestyle” perspective, you’re doomed from the start.

    2) Eat the same foods all year round. Permanent fat loss is best achieved by eating mostly the same types of foods all year round. Naturally, you should include a wide variety of healthy foods so you get the full spectrum of nutrients you need, but there should be consistency, month in, month out. When you want to lose body fat, there’s no dramatic change necessary - you don’t need to eat totally different foods - it’s a simple matter of eating less of those same healthy foods and exercising more.

    3) Have a plan for easing into maintenance. Let’s face it - sometimes a nutrition program needs to be more strict than usual. For example, peaking for a bodybuilding or fitness contest requires an extremely strict regimen that’s different than the rest of the year. As a rule, the stricter your nutrition program, the more you must plan ahead and the more time you must allow for a slow, disciplined transition into maintenance. Failure to plan for a gradual transition will almost always result in bingeing and a very rapid, hard fall “off the wagon.”

    4) Focus on changing daily behaviors and habits one or two at a time. Rather than making huge, multiple changes all at once, focus on changing one or two habits/behaviors at a time. Most psychologists agree that it takes about 21 days of consistent effort to replace an old bad habit with a new positive one. As you master each habit, and it becomes as ingrained into your daily life as brushing your teeth, then you simply move on to the next one. That would be at least 17 new habits per year. Can you imagine the impact that would have on your health and your life? This approach requires a lot of patience, but the results are a lot more permanent than if you try to change everything in one fell swoop. This is also the least intimidating way for a beginner to start making some health-improving changes to their lifestyle.

    5) Make goal setting a lifelong habit. Goal setting is not a one-time event, it’s a process that never ends. For example, if you have a 12 week goal to lose 6% bodyfat, what are you going to do after you achieve it? Lose even more fat? Gain muscle? Maintain? What’s next? On week 13, day 1, if you have no direction and nothing to keep you going, you’ll have nothing to keep you from slipping back into old patterns. Every time you achieve a goal, you must set another one. Having daily and weekly short term goals means that you are literally setting goals continuously and never stopping.

    6) Allow a reasonable time frame to reach your goal. It’s important to set deadlines for your fitness and weight loss goals. It’s also important to set ambitious goals, but you must allow a reasonable time frame for achieving them. Time pressure is often the motivating force that helps people get in the best shape of their lives. But when the deadline is unrealistic for a particular goal (like 30 pounds in 30 days), then crash dieting or other extreme measures are often taken to get there before the bell. The more rapidly you lose weight, the more likely you are to lose muscle and the faster the weight will come right back on afterwards. Start sooner. Don’t wait until mid-May to think about looking good for summer.

    7) Extend your time perspective. Successful people in every field always share one common character trait: Long term time perspective. Some of the most successful Japanese technology and manufacturing companies have 100 year and even 250-year business plans. If you want to be successful in maintaining high levels of fitness, you must set long term goals: One year, Ten years, Even fifty years! You also must consider what the long term consequences might be as a result of using any “radical” diet, training method or ergogenic aid. The people who had it but lost it are usually the ones who failed to think long term or acknowledge future consequences. It’s easy for a 21 year old to live only for today, and it may even seem ridiculous to set 25 year goals, but consider this: I’ve never met a 40 or 60 year old who didn’t care about his or her health and appearance, but I have met 40 or 60 year olds who regretted not caring 25 years ago.

Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle (BFFM) is a fat loss program which acknowledges the simple truth that going “on diets,” entering “Fitness challenges” or competing in “Transformation contests” without having long term goals and a lifestyle attitude, is a recipe for failure. I Need to Learn More about Tax Foreclosure

Filed under: Financial World, Online Investment, Payday Loan Resources — admin @ 2:41 pm

My mother is worried about getting foreclosed upon so she asked me to help her look into her options. I told her that I would do a search on “tax foreclosure home” and let her know what I come up with. I would hate to see her lose her home. She worked really hard after my dad left to get that house and if she lost it I don’t know what she would do. I am sure that there is something that we can work out. Some sort of payment plan or something. Maybe I can take out a loan at my bank to help out.

Also, I have been thinking about getting into real estate investing and I know that there are a lot of great deals out there right now. I am looking for pre foreclosure homes right now since I know that there are a lot of them and those can be a very good investment. I am not sure if I want to flip the houses yet or rent them out, I just decided that I wanted to get into it and now would be a good time to do it. Since I own my own house free and clear and I already have an investor I think that I am set to go.

How to Set Goals That Motivate You To Outsell, Outperform And Outclass Your Competition!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:39 pm

January is one of those months where some people seem to be
very motivated! Most people, particularly those in sales, tend
to set themselves some pretty “stretched” targets in the New
Year. Some of these will be for work and some individual.
Certainly, I know a whole host of people who are going to…
lose weight, stop smoking, keep fit, decorate the house, spend
more time with their partners, work harder, prospect more
consistently, close more decisively, start work earlier, work
    later etc. etc.

Unfortunately, statistics show that, like February’s fast waning
gym members, most of these so called New Year’s Resolutions will
fall by the wayside! There are a variety of reasons for this so I thought it might be useful to give you my top 10 goals setting tips so that you can give your goals a quick health check. Maybe after reading this you might decide to cull a few excess ones or maybe even set some if you haven’t bothered as of yet!

When I run seminars and workshops I often ask who has goals and
who doesn’t. It’s astonishing the number of people who have no
goals. They claim that this makes them happier but I think this
is more about not understanding the true meaning of goals and
their purpose. Me, I wouldn’t get on a boat with no target
destination and I wouldn’t join a company with no idea what I was going to be doing…

Goals must be for you! One of the main problems with most goals
is that they aren’t really for you. I often ask salespeople about their targets or their aims and they tell me what they think I want to hear or what their manager told them they ought to be going for. These kinds of goals will not motivate or inspire. They’ll be the first to be broken. Your personal goals need to be in alignment with your values. If you’re thinking about work goals and you don’t know what your work values are, tray asking yourself, “What’s important to me about work?”

Goals must be congruent with who you are and there must be no
secondary gain for not achieving the goal. Last year, I did some
coaching with a senior manager who said that he wanted some
extraordinary results for himself and his team. Despite this he
was taking no congruent actions to achieve his goals. When we
explored this in more detail we discovered that if he achieved
his goals he would get promoted away from the job that he truly
loved. This secondary gain he was getting from not taking action was holding him back.

The achievement of your goals must be inside of your control.
Setting goals such as, “More clients are going to buy from me”
not particularly useful as it’s not inside your control. You
cannot make clients buy from you. On the other hand, you can
control your activity so a goal like, “I am going to canvass
consistently this year so that I can reach my target number of
clients” or “I am going to improve my sales skills so that I can focus on increasing my conversion ratios” would be very valid.

Goals need to be viewed in the positive. We cannot not focus on
a negative!! “I don’t want to eat chocloate” or “I don’t want to be given the runaround by clients” will have you focusing on the exact thing that you don’t want. “I want to eat healthily” or “I am going to work in partnership with my clients” would help you to focus on the positive side of the situation.

Goals need to be visualised in panoramic detail. The more detail
you see in your mind, the more real it feels to you. Our minds
struggle to tell the difference between something real and
something vividly imagined. Because of this, we can create a
golden goal that motivated an inspires us and that we truly
believe is achievable. Athletes imagine themselves winning races
over and over before they ever run the race and we can gain the
    same benefits too.

Imagine your goals in vivid detail… what do
you see, hear, feel? Where will you be? Who with? What are you
doing? Compare the difference in your mind between a sports car
and a Porsche Boxter in black with black leather interior, Bose
stereo. You’ve got your favourite music on… you’re parking
outside your house… see what I mean?

Goals need to be measurable and defined. Some goals are too
woolly and non-specific. Not only will these not motivate but you also won’t know when you’ve got them and when to celebrate! Goals like, “I want to be happy” or “I want to be successful” just don’t fly. As they say in the US, “That dog don’t hunt!” You can often meet people with these kinds of goals who seem to have everything but they’re never satisfied… why? Because they are not specific enough. The key questions is, “How will I know when …I’m happy / successful etc?”

Goals need to be timed. This is crucial. When will I start? When
will it be completed by? How long will it take? Etc. This stops
excuses and specifies importance. It’s also contextually
important. If I said to you, “Would you like to earn a million
pounds?” you’d probably say, “Yes”. If I added, “Over the next 50 years” you’d more than likely not be so happy! But what about 25 years? Or 10? Or 5? Or 6 months?

Commit! Commit! Commit! One of the primary reasons that many
people fail to achieve their goals is because they can! They set them privately and in such a way that when they back-out or
relapse they don’t lose face! Would you stand up in the middle of the office and say, “I am going to double my sales this year, you just watch!”. I know that some of you would (and good on you!) but the majority wouldn’t. Now, when you’ve stopped thinking that I’m being unfair because it’s not possible… ask yourself this question, “Could I double my sales if my life depended on it?” Ahhh, so that’s changed it.

Reconsider, why it is that you don’t stand up and commit again…because you already know you don’t want to put that kind of work in! so go back to your values and what you really want and set yoruself something that you do want to go for. When you’ve done that… write it down, tell people, shout from the rooftops. Make it really difficuly for yourself to back out!

Surround yourself with goal oriented people. We become most like
the people we spend the most time with. If you spend your life
with goal oriented people who know what they want and go out and
get it (and assuming that you like and respsct them) you are
highly like to start to display those characteristics. On the
other hand, if you spend your life listening to and whining with
sales losers you’re going to find it really difficult to set
and achieve great goals. If you don’t know any sales or business
superstars … find some. Attend a seminar, read a book, listen
to an audio, network online. This support network can work just
    as well when it’s virtual.

Take the first step now. Anthony Robbins (motivational author
and personal development guru that I highly recommend you read)
once said that you should never leave the scene of a goal without taking some action. He was right. COnsistent action is key to achieving success.

Good luck with your goals for 2006!

    Selling from your Heart

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:28 pm

Are you a Solopreneur, a Small Business Owner, a Helping Professional, or a Creative who is tired of trying to figure out how to sell yourself and your services without feeling uncomfortable or pushy?

If so, you are not alone! Many of us have experienced manipulative and abrasive salespeople who have turned us off…made us cringe…and even stopped us entirely from pursuing a purchase we really wanted.

If we ourselves have had poor experiences with salespeople, how can we be expected to enjoy becoming one?

Well, let’s look at the alternative. In order to bring our talents, our services, and our gifts to the world…we need to figure this out.

What I know for sure is that we cannot grow our businesses without becoming comfortable with “selling”…so let’s bite the bullet and master this “selling thing”.

“But we didn’t sign on to be salespeople”, you say. “We signed on to help people or to make a great product available or to express our creativity!”

“We’re ok with connecting with people, forming new relationships, and helping people to get what they need…but in a professional and non-threatening way.”

And so it is with “Selling from your Heart.”

“Selling from your Heart” is about forming connections with potential Clients, finding commonalities, enjoying conversations, figuring out what’s missing, helping to clarify what’s needed, and partnerning to find solutions.

Is that something you’re comfortable with?

    I thought so!

So let’s create a plan that will help you to embrace your professional selling self and, in so doing, enhance the very reputation of “selling”.

    Step 1

Know Yourself. Who are you? What makes you special? What characteristics do you have that would attract someone to partner with you? What products or services do you have to offer them that is unique?

    Step 2

Get Clear On Who You Want to Attract. Who would you really like to work with? What qualities do these individuals have? What would it be like to have a relationship with these types of people? Create a “My Favorite Client” profile. Keep it in full sight.

    Step 3

Look for Your “Favorite Clients” Everywhere. It’s like a treasure hunt. Where do they hang out? What do they read? What radio stations do they listen to? Where might you run into them?

    Step 4

Create an Image for these Individuals to See. How will you portray yourself to these potential Clients? What will you send them that will make you curious about you? Should you place a photo on your brochure? Should you pose a question in your copy that will make them say…Hmmm! What will make them reach out?

    Step 5

Imagine Yourself Conversing with Exactly the Type of Client you Seek. If you could talk with your Favorite Prospective Client, what would you like to find out about them? What would you like to share? How would you introduce yourself? What questions could you ask to put them at ease?

    Step 6

Be a Conversation Starter. Remember, people love to talk about themselves. Ask an “open-ended” question. Listen to the response. Listen some more. Come from curiosity. What does this person have to teach you? How might you two connect? What are the commonalities of experience? Is this someone you can help?

    Step 7

Move it Forward. Are you eager to share the “good news” about what you do with others? Are you excited about what you do? Are you comfortable in your own skin…even if it’s new? Just be yourself. Share what turns you on. Tell a fun story. Move the relationship forward.

    Step 8

Watch for the “Magic Click”. Are you feeling on the same wave length with this person? Does it just feel good to talk with them? Do you want to know more? Is the conversation “flowing”? Enjoy the connection!

    Step 9

Enjoy the New Relationship for What It Is Right Now. Be sure to be clear about what you do and why you love it. Invite your new acquaintances to “try you on”…through a sample or complimentary session. Nurture this new connection. Be there when they’re ready to learn more.

    Step 10

Be Ready for Them When They’re Ready for You. When the time is right for them, be easy to find. Congratulate your new Client on the choice they’ve made to better their life. Build on this wonderful, new relationship. Strengthen it with intimacy, caring, and skill.

So this,my friends, is “Selling from your Heart”. How much fun is this! You have opportunity after opportunity to connect with people, form new relationships, share your talents and skills and products, and help people to get what they need…exactly what you signed on for.

And don’t forget to keep the conversation going for a long, long time. Ask your new Clients to give you feedback on how the process or service or product feels to them. When they’re delighted by the results, ask them to spread the good word through a Testimonial or other venue. If they forget, ask them again. Create a graceful ending when it is time for them to leave you. Keep in touch.

Are you ready to make “Selling from your Heart” a goal in the new year? I hope so. Your reward will be a Client Base that is suited to exactly who you are who will help you to market your products and services for a long, long time to come.

    Happy selling!

Buy new real estate with easy loans, 128439 euro is not a problem

In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 10 percent. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust’ But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 7 percent offered by competitors will change.

Although most mortgage experts say that rates 9 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 9 percentage. Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 5 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 9 percent. Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 7 percent. Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. See which lenders are charging fees 8 percent and for how much. Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 3 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. And of course, each loan and each borrower are different.

Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. Different lenders charge different fees.

    Heart Rate Monitors

Filed under: House Of Templates — admin @ 10:38 am

A heart rate monitor is a gadget that grants exercise equipment users the ability to keep in line their own heartbeat whilst exercising. It ordinarily comprises 2 units, A receiver on the wrist and a chest strap. The chest strap utilizes electrodes to monitor your pulse and if the gadget is tied in to your training machine, its screen will indicate your heart rate to you. Receivers for heart rate monitors usually arrive in the shape of digital watches that assess a pulse by figuring out the time before blood pumps through your veins in the wrist. Cardiac rate monitors are turning out to be more and more an essential and most commercial grade fitness machines have got a pulse rate monitor as part of the package.

If you have heart or blood pressure disorders, owning a heart rate monitor whilst keeping fit is essential. You will not simply be able to find out in what way your pump takes care of hard work, you will also be able to control your pulse by modifying speed settings on the exercise machines. Some treadmills and elliptical trainers arrive with a built-in heart-rate management system, which automatically slows down the exercise machine if your heart beat is overly upward. This is really useful, as it fends off a good deal of heart-related ailments that happened at one time or another with people getting in shape harder than their heart could manage.

Even with no cardiac disorders, it is still a good idea to use a heart rate monitor now and then. This way, you shall be able to track how your system deals with intense exertion. To make sure you are in good health and there will be no disorders subsequently, you should make a daily pulse-rate graph for a single week or two, while training at the same intensity degree. You will observe if there are extreme pitfalls or ascensions in your pulse rate, but the best thing to do would be to show this report to your doctor, who will immediately notice any forthcoming problems.

If you are contriving to buy a quality heart rate monitor, one of the common makers available is The Polar company. Polar technology has been around for two decades now and the company has achieved the status of being the industry leader in the heart rate monitors field. Heart rate monitors are an advance in working out at home, as they might help to avoid numerous heart problems. Always pay attention to your heart rate monitor and try not to push your heart over the limits. Consult a doctor about what the normal pulse rate should be for your body type, in an effort regime. Combine this data with an exercise machine that supports heart rate measuring systems and displays them on their console, or even better, one that adjusts its speed to your pulse rate.

Driving Traffic with Pay Per Click

Filed under: Traffic — admin @ 9:09 pm

Pay per click (PPC) advertising programs are excellent resources
for driving traffic to your website.

Internet marketing is a bit different than traditional marketing,
primarily because your marketing efforts have to drive traffic to
your website instead of to a physical store.

For that reason, it is essential that advertisements for your
internet-based business are visible to an audience that will
actually follow an online link that takes them to your website.

Advertising in offline publications is always an option and it
can be effective. However, getting your website listed in the
search engines is by far the most powerful method for driving
    traffic to your website.

Getting and maintaining a good rank in the search engines through
the process of search engine optimization can be difficult due to
    heavy competition.

Pay per click advertising is a solution to that problem. With
PPC advertising, you bid on the keyword search terms that you
want your site to be displayed for.

Advertisements appear in the search engines as sponsored ads when
an internet user uses the search term that you bid on.

The ranking of the advertisements is generally determined by the
amount of the bid, so the highest bidder gets top ranking in most
    cases.

On Google, the popularity of the website is also taken into
consideration, so the highest bid doesn’t necessarily get the top
    spot.

Pay per click advertising is advantageous to website owners for
    several reasons.

First, you can get listed in the major search engines quickly and
    easily.

Second, search engine listings produce excellent results in
regard to driving qualified traffic to your website.

Third, you are billed for your advertising on a cost-per-click
basis which means that you only pay your bid amount when someone
viewing your advertisement actually clicks on the link and is
    directed to your website.

This is quite different from traditional advertising and some
types of online advertising where you pay for impressions.

With PPC advertising, you don’t pay for the number of times your
ad is seen, or has the potential to be seen, rather, you only pay
for responses to the advertisement that actually produce traffic
    for your website.

The most popular pay per click programs at present are Google
AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture).

When you advertise with Google AdWords, your advertisements
appear in Google’s search results and on websites that are in the
    Google network.

This is really good, because Google is the most widely used
search engine so there is a lot of potential for reaching a large
    audience with your advertisements.

With Yahoo! Search Marketing, your advertisements will appear in
several different search engines that the company has agreements
with including the two leading search engines that are right
under Google in terms of usage - Yahoo! and MSN.

MSN is in the process of development and testing for its own
cost-per-click advertising program. Whether or not they will
remove themselves from the Yahoo! Search Marketing program is not
    certain.

In addition to the major search engines, there are smaller search
engines, directories and even specialty search engines that
    target a very specific audience.

Getting listed in these search engines or directories, either
through paid listings, free listings, or pay per click listings
    can be beneficial as well.

There is less competition for listings in smaller search engines,
    specialty search engines and directories.

Even though they may not be used as much as the major search
engines, most do have an audience, sometimes a very precisely
defined audience and have potential for producing qualified leads
and driving traffic to your website with minimal costs to you.

Filed under: Credit Rating + Cash Flow — admin @ 4:48 pm

The first and maybe most important step in a debt elimination process, is to acknowledge there’s a problem and realize that something has to be done with your situation. Some do it before it is too late, though an asthonishing number of people seem to act as if this is not their situation at all. They
know that the need to seek advice from a debt consolidator, but they do not. The paradox is that many people are willing to use many years and spend a whole lot of extra money to get out of debt. Don’t do like these people.

Here are a few steps to eliminate your debt:

    1. Research your options to see what will work for you.

The point is to find a debt elimination program that will be the right choice for you. There are plenty of different debt relief programs for example Lexington Law and SpendOnLife out there to chose from online. Just know your needs.

    2. Get professional help.

The best way to know exactly what you need, is to use a professionally recommended debt elimination plan. Contact a quality debt advisor like for example Abacus, which will almost guarantee that you will save yourself money and time.

    3. Consolidate multiple bills

If you have lots of bills to pay each month, you will be amazed if I told you how much extra you are paying unnecessary. The solution is to consolidate all your debt into one loan and pay only one bill a month. This will cause the amount of interest you pay to go down, while at the same time the amount of money in your pocket goes up.

If you follow one or more of these advices, you will definately be on your way to a life without debt faster than you could imagine.
