Monthly Budgeting Can Be Hard Work

Filed under: Financial World, Self Improvement — admin @ 9:37 am

I have always been off on my monthly budget with dependable monthly bill and unanticipated expenses. My paycheck was already spent as soon as I received it. I got a stack of bills every month and put them off to the last minute, then dealt with them all in a rush. As a result I ended up taking up money from the next paycheck just to make it through. The problem was not related to how much money I made, it’s that I had no control of mybudget. In the case of any emergency, left me even deeper in debt.

This situation is not uncommon for most of us. We try to be careful with our money, but long before month-end, the money is gone. Paying Off bills is a juggling act that we don’t have the time or energy to comprehend. There’s always one bill that was unnoticed or delayed, one more expense we weren’t prepared for. With school supplies and fees for the kids, groceries, new tires for the car, and the raising cost of petrol, just making it from paycheck to paycheck is hard enough; saving money is out of the question. Meanwhile, debt is slowly stacking up. How can I get mybudget under control?

I was lucky to have found a service which will help me manage my money more sagely and take away the tension of paying off monthly bills, letting me focus on the things that really matter to my family. No more distressing about where the money will come from; I can finally relax, knowing that my finances are in good hands.

How financial planning services work:
Usually during your first consultation, your budget consultant will look at all of your existing debts and monthly payments and devise a program that works for you. They will set aside money for savings, emergencies, and long-term investment, ensuring your family’s financial security. If you are planning a major purchase, this will be forecasted into your budget so that when you are ready to buy, the money will be there for you.

Your paychecks are generally deposited with your financial planner, and a separate account is set up for your living expenses. Your bills are directly delivered to your budgeting consultant for payment. Some budget services will even negotiate with your creditors to reduce your monthly payments and reduce your outstanding debt. A small monthly fee is assessed for all these services.

For me, the best monthly service mybudget specialist provides is peace of mind. No more hassle with bill payment; I know my bills will be paid on time, and that I’ll have money in reservation for life’s little emergencies. My budget is finally under control, thanks to my financial planning service.

Short Sightedness Near Sightedness - OK and Then What?

Filed under: Be Beautiful, Medical Management, Self Improvement — admin @ 3:34 am

The term myopia or myopia refers to the situation if you can’t see far in to the distance. Of all the people that you know with spectacles, it is likely that the majority of have this challenge You find that with people who have short sightedness, their eye sockets are too long. Hence, when the light beams come into their eyes from an object in the distance, the person’s cornea and lens are too powerful to focus the image on the fovea of the retina. Short-sightedness manifests itself when individuals can clearly see close-up objects however distant objects will appear blurred and fuzzy.Due to this fact, the picture of the tree or television or whatever is not clear. So, those that have near-sightedness see things that are nearby without any difficulty. But if they are trying to look at something in the distance, they end up squinting to see the image more clearly.

The individuals most most likely to produce concise sightedness are people who have other men and women in their family using the same issue. If they get it, these are most likely to have it when they’re young kids or young adults. It can be unusual to create the problem as an older adult.Actually the problem can even get better as an adult, as the muscles controlling the lens get weaker or stifferRecent research has indicated that viewing too much television may well make the short-sightedness condition worse, although at this stage there has been no evidence to suggest this is the case. Excessive study at school; faulty positions when reading and writing, bad light for work will all cause short-sight in after life. So, what are your options are curing short sightedness? Short-sightedness can be corrected with a concave lens that makes the light rays diverge and focus accurately on the retina. Sometimes, laser surgery can reshape the cornea.Alternatively, you could buy some spectacles to solve the problem.

My Hair Loss Journey

Filed under: Be Beautiful, Health + More, Self Improvement — admin @ 3:12 am

My hair loss treatment journey began the day I started to find myself balding. I would always find ways to comb my hair in a certain way to hide my hair loss. I started to wear more and more hats on the weekends as I went out with my wife, friends or family. Walking in to work every morning was a painful experience without my hat on. You change the way you think when you are experiencing hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.

Having suffered from hair loss, I began to treasure every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each individual hair I lost, so was a small percent of my confidence gone as well. A mate of mine had the same problem as me. I observed lately that he seemed so much more relaxed and it appears as though his hair was growing back. I never wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. It was then that he told me about Advanced Hair Studio. With just a few treatments my friend John had not only regained his hair, but his confidence as well. I was determined to give Advanced Hair a try as after all I had a lot to lose, meaning my hair and self-confidence.

At first, I was a little cynical. But within a few weeks the outcomes were apparent. Not only on my head, but in my behavior. I started feeling better about myself and started to lose the hats on the weekends. My wife who has been unhappy about my lack of interest in our relationship began to notice the change in that department as well. It is amazing how just a few consultations to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I have constantly been shy about people noticing my bald spot. Now, I am not frightened to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of self esteem back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back my hair, but a big part of my confidence as well. If you are going through hair loss I highly recommend them as it has done so much for me in just a few months of treatments. Don’t let your confidence continue to be lost with your hair.

Human Hair Wigs for the Women in Need of Natural Look and Feel

Filed under: Be Beautiful, Health + More, Self Improvement — admin @ 12:09 pm

We never thought the indestructible Amelia Sharp, my high school BFF, would need a collection of lace wigs. Her extravagant hair added so much to her personality. But surprise surprise. There’s no doubt “Lady Fabulous” will be eternally the center of attention for her attitude. Only a handful of souls even care that she dons lace wigs. You’d be surprised!

Back in the day as young girls in our home town of Scottsdale, we always knocked ‘em dead. Then her women’s hair loss took effect and she became nearly bald. I did hint at a few invisible lace wigs. Oh well, she shrugged it off. Even on bad days she took the time and showcased her innate beauty.

Attending the school’s roller hockey tournament, we heckled till a guy on other team purposefully slapped the puck (or whichever thing that is) at the crowd. Such a sport, she reached out for the thing when her head scarf jumped from her head, revealing her bald head. No big deal, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave right back at him. She’s that kind of girl.

However, who can be invincible at all times? One time at our semi-monhtly mid-day lemonade chat, when she laughed nervously and said that she opts to do without hair as a statement. She dare not look at human hair wigs, secretly acknowledging she would wear them. And who would have thought miss invincible grew embarrassed and requested that I dismiss the notion. She really needed help.

There was no way to get her words out of my head. The next morning, I called about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Eventually we came to the obvious conclusion: lace front wigs for all! We have a knack for making online wig shopping fun.

Not sure who was more floored by the fashionable styles. We never imagined that wigs are so prevalent for people, even superstars. These wigs for women’s hair loss made her so lovely. I pieced together a delightfully modern set of outfits to go with our wigs. Its become an inside joke, if you haven’t heard. Not long ago she sent me her thanks for her human hand-crafted human hair wig, and said it brought about a fresh spirit in her life. It’s my pleasure to watch little miss attitude reclaim her beauty. She’s a better person, with the same confidence.

Achieve Incredible Expectations with the Best Social and Matchmaking Service

Filed under: Dating, Help 4 U, Self Improvement — admin @ 4:59 am

You guys know I hate to say it, because life can be lonesome without a date. Here’s the scoup, this morning I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. To ease the pain that comes from being alone, duh! That actually happened. Is that even legal? Honestly, it’s when I seriously looked into getting out to date in my new hometown.

I already knew the solution. I’ll meet new singles thru this Dallas dating service. And it never sounded better. Loneliness bites, heres why. We were at George’s graduation in Dallas last night, my sister had to know if I have settled down with my one and only. They always bring this up, every year. Anyway, I looked up at them and yelled, “No.”

There’s nowhere to hide when “The Twerp” (my nephew, age 9) opining about marriage. I joked to all of them: “I’ll be fine, I manage, don’t I?”

Can you believe this? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Immediately, I rang Margaret so I could clear my head. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! I can’t imagine what I was thinking there. Billy, who wrote to me from Egypt, suggested that I sign up for Great Expectations. I said, “That’s what I was going to do.” But it really was a good idea. I can speak highly of Great Expectations Denver.

When I started, dating events were kinda foreign because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I was a bit nervous at first, and I was speechless at first. My emotional anxiety did not bring an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. That night I enjoyed was bursting with excitement. The one cool thing that really struck me were the attractive, single women.

There’s something great about going to these incredibley satisfying Great Expectations Dallas singles events and mixers, I rubbed elbows with a collection of dynamite friends who I could tell have similar ideas which made for a magnificent singles event. Now I can stop letting anyone give me a hard time about being single. Astoundingly enough, matchmaking the Great Expectations way is a lot of fun and care-free social experience.

Anxiety Attacks - Beginning Investing - Jobs for Felons

Filed under: Financial World, Health + More, Self Improvement — admin @ 1:28 am

Anxiety attacks have many causes, many of which are situational. Some main contributors and catalysts for anxiety and panic attacks can be joblessness, not having enough money invested or saved up, or coming in to cover your bills. These are just a few. When you begin to experience this anxiety, this can also contribute to you having a difficult time finding a job. Also, if you don’t have a job, you might have a hard time learning how to begin investing. This is something which is very important for everyone to insure that you are able to take care of your family and protect your financial future.

Especially in our current economic times, finding, and even keeping a job if you already have one can be quite the task. This can be elevated even more so if you are a convicted felon. Jobs for felons and trying to find jobs for convicted felons can be a trying situation.

Once you do get a job, and have eliminated some of your anxiety symptoms, it is imperative that you learn how to begin investing as soon as you can. Remember, having a nest egg or savings can greatly reduce your stress levels and contribute to lower anxiety levels as well as reduce job related stress due to the fact that you are not as dependent on your job and living paycheck to paycheck. You can take a hit and still be able to cover your basic monthly bills.

A New Year…A New look

Filed under: Self Improvement — admin @ 3:46 am

A New Year, A New You! Six Top Fashion Tips for 2006 By Virginia
Alexander

Hey, all you fantastic fashionistas! A recent trip to Fashion
week proves that this year is just incredible when it comes to
fashion and style! “Less is more” is the rule for 2006. The
color pallet is warm or cool, but always romantic, glamorous,
bold and totally inviting! As a stylist for film and television,
it’s my job to create styles for my clients that make them look
good, have proper fit for their body shape and are in fashion.
My client list varies from media personalities to individuals
who need to build an entire new wardrobe because of weight loss.
Redesigning your image is a real treat after weight loss. You
have been actively working from the inside out. Now is the time
to reap the rewards of your labor! You may not have your own
personal stylist, but that should not keep you from looking
fabulous. Looking your best is really quite simple if you follow
what I call Virginia’s Rule of 3: Accent the positive, detract
from the negative, and create the illusion of what you don’t
have. How do you follow this rule? By following these 6 tips:

1. Prepare to shop! Shopping for clothes requires preparation?
Believe it or not, it does! Before you shop, start with proper,
well-fitting undergarments and comfortable clothes that come off
and on easily so that you won’t get tired while trying things
on. Wear shoes that slip off and on easily–wear flats, but
bring heels. You have to have shoes of the right height to
properly see what any garment will look like on you. Plus, here
is the kicker … a 2-inch heel or platform will make any
garment hang & look different; it raises your bottom too!
Finally, wear your makeup and do your hair before stepping out
the door. That will make everything you put on look better;
after all, you will be coifed and looking your best when you
wear these new clothes in public! 2. Choose styles that work
for your body type and shape. Do you know what works for you
specific body shape? There are 3 basic body shapes or
proportions: hourglass, bigger on top, and bigger on bottom. We
can all identify with one of them. Certain styles compliment
certain body types. For instance, high waists and flowing skirts
can disguise a larger bottom half. Look for styles that make the
most of your shape. While every person’s body is different, one
sure-fire way to make your body look balanced is to wear one
solid color top to bottom. This ensures a sleek head-to-toe
look. Just make sure you pick a color that looks great on you!

3. Choose Colors that Make Your Complexion Look Great. To figure
out what colors make your complexion glow, pick out about 10
shirts–all in different colors–and hold them up in front of
yourself. Now, look in the mirror holding one up at a time!
Notice what the color does for your complexion. Does it make
your complexion and eyes look bright? Does it make you look flat
and dull? Does it create dark circles around your eyes? Most of
all, how do you feel in this color? If it makes you glow and
feel great, then it is a good color for you. Colors fall mainly
into 3 categories, Cool, Warm and Mid-tone. You will probably
look best in colors from one of these palettes: * Cool tones
Wear bright colors, such as bright emerald green, turquoise, a
blue-toned red, pink, navy, dark gray and a bright purple. Avoid
beige, olive green, brick red and apricot. * Warm tones Wear
olive greens, burgundy, mustard, ambers, tomato red, and
russets. Avoid hot pink, sky blue, navy, dark gray, and black. *
Mid-tones Wear muted colors like clear red, hot pink, lemon
yellow, aqua, periwinkle and sage green. Avoid rust, salmon
pink, icy blue, charcoal and black. Still not sure? Ask a
stranger: they are usually more honest than a friend!

4. Choose Bold Accessories to Dress up Your Whole Wardrobe.
Accessories for 2006 are big and bold. The colors I love are
pink, ambers, sage greens, turquoise, and dark brown and black.
So, when it came time to accessorize for the year, I went
through my jewelry box to see what pieces would work with my
favorite hues. I already had some long amber earrings, big
silver hoop earrings, silver bangle bracelets and turquoise and
silver Indian jewelry. So, I only bought a chunky and very long
amber glass bead necklace ($42) and big multi-tiered turquoise
and amber earrings ($20). I am now totally accessorized for 2006!

5. Focus on Essentials! I like separates because I can create a
lot of outfits with just a few basic pieces of clothing: a pair
of faded jeans, a flowing black skirt, and black pants.
Supplement and create new looks by pairing these three
must-haves with clothes you already have! Look through your
closet before you shop, and get rid of what you won’t or don’t
wear. Make a list of what you need or want. I tear pictures out
of magazines, and get as close as I can to the look I love!
Remember to make sure you feel good in the clothes when you try
them on! Ask yourself these questions: Can I bend over without
flashing the universe? Can I breathe? Does it pull or pinch?
Does it gape or gap anywhere? Can you see through it? (Look in
the light!) Does it hang well on me? Is the fabric rough or
irritating? If it is not comfortable in the store, it’s never
going to be! You will not wear it, so don’t buy it. I always buy
clothes that have an element of stretch to them for two reasons.
First, I can move and breathe in them. Second, pants with
stretch always make my butt look better!

6. Know What’s Hot and What’s Not!

What’s “In” for 2006: * Soft, feminine fabrics * Color,
magnificent color * Empire-waist blouses * Embellishments on
fabrics–around the neckline or cuffs or on pockets, just a
little * Jeans–all colors, faded, distressed or slightly
embellished (embellished pockets) * Embellished belt buckles *
Western looks–jeans, cowboy hats & western style boots with
heels * Soft gauzy peasant tops–that seventies hippy look *
Ponchos, wraps, shrugs and soft scarves. * Jean jackets–can be
worn with almost everything! * Lace up high boots–boots are big
this year! * Sexy platform shoes * Belts * Button up sweater
with jeans–kind of a retro fifties look. Add pearls for a chic
classy look!

What’s “in,” but not flattering for most of us: * Gaucho
pants–unless you’re 6 feet tall and 120 pounds, you should
reconsider wearing them! * Drop waist short dresses–It looks so
cute on kids, not adults! * Short shorts–The daisy duke’s, just
what were they thinking? * Embellished over-priced designer
sweat suits–okay for exercise, but not to be worn in public! *
Bikini Jeans–need I say more? * Dresses and blouses cut to the
navel–interesting, but not appropriate on anyone!

What’s out: * Straight-legged slacks * Leggings * Extremely
low-waisted jeans and slacks * Oversized shirts–oversized
anything really! * Same print skirts and tops–just break them
up! * Lots of jewelry, or “Bling” Exception: If you are a Rap
Star, can you still get away with this.

What’s “in” for Hair and Makeup: No look is complete without
beautiful hair and make-up. Hair this year shows dimensional
color and highlights. Lowlights and length are both back as
well. Hair that is colored a few shades deeper underneath is a
super look. Longer hair is in, worn straight and flat-ironed
with a wispy cut or big and curled. Remember when you get your
hair restyled to look at all of you, not just your face. You
need to focus on a total look to be balanced. A short hair cut
on an ample body will make you look out of proportion! Makeup is
soft and subtle or fully glamorous for evening. Daytime colors
are soft neutral tones on the eyes (browns, taupes) and light
colors on the lips (Coppers, pinks, peaches), loads of mascara
and subtle, blended eyeliner. Lip-gloss is still in. For
evening, Evening Don’t be afraid to use a lot of color on the
eyes and to provide strong definition. Eyeliners are perfect in
showdown and bright mineral hues. Use loads of mascara to
achieve long, thick lashes. Go for soft blush and hot lips
defined in neutral colors, then glossed.

Follow these tips, and you will be ready to kick off the New
Year looking and feeling your best! It’s a New Year, and It’s
all about You!

Break the Grip of Procrastination

Filed under: Self Improvement — admin @ 7:21 pm

Perhaps no single human behavior is as universal as procrastination. Even the most productive among us occasionally fall prey to its grip. And there are few things that rob us of more joy, productivity, freedom and achievement than procrastination. My purpose today is not to discuss all the reasons we procrastinate, but to offer some simple but powerful techniques for breaking its hold on us. Perhaps as you read this, you’re procrastinating on writing a report, exercising, starting a project or cleaning off your desk. So, read on, and apply any or all of the steps listed below, and start making things happen.

1) Ask yourself which project, task or result will have the greatest payoff for you if you act on it now. Once you’ve decided on a focus, go to step 2.

2) Ask yourself what you could produce or complete in the next 5 minutes toward that project. Usually it’s a matter of taking one or two small steps that breaks the deadlock of procrastination.

3) Once you’ve identified those small steps, pick one and do it. Then do the next.

4) Stay focused on the results you’re aiming for. Most of us get derailed because we smother ourselves in the minute, forgetting to look up at the goal we were after in the first place. Especially if it’s a big project, keeping that vision in mind can be very motivating.

5) Keep a list of easy-to-do projects that will produce a quick, visible result. Sometimes we simply need the satisfaction of a small win to fuel us toward greater achievement.

6) Remember times when you broke through procrastination and even beat a deadline? A coaching client of mine recently completed two huge projects in a matter of days. Now when she gets mired in “I don’t know if I can do this,” thinking, I remind her of her recent accomplishment, and it sparks her motivation.

7) Stop worrying about whether you “feel” like it. As Shakespeare said, “our doubts are traitors.” Instead go back to steps 1 and 2 to decide what is most important, then act on it.

8) Celebrate your successes along the way. Did you complete a project this morning that you had to get done? Give yourself a small reward. The old saying “nothing succeeds like success” applies here. But usually we get so busy on the next task or project that we don’t stop to savor the satisfaction of our accomplishments.

9) Create a guideline to remind you. In the Best Year Yet program we create guidelines–standards of behavior–to guide us through the year ahead. A guideline that repeatedly shows up on my BYY plans is “Act on it now.”

10) Do something counter-intuitive. Need to break a mental block? Get up and do a few minutes of stretching or walk around the block. Trying to write and the well is dry? Get a paper and pen and simply write the first thing that pops into your head. Keep writing until words begin to flow again. Get laughing. Laughter has a way of clearing mental debris, and the endorphins released have a way of getting you in action. Sometimes the logical thing to do is the least logical. Give it a try.

As I often confess, these weekly messages are more for my benefit than anyone else’s. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m ready to tackle the rest of my to do list!!
